You’ve booked the venue, found the dress and started on the guest list. Now it’s time to plan the beauty side of things. The secret to glowing wedding skin isn’t a last-minute facial. It’s a calm, steady plan that starts months ahead.
Here’s our step-by-step bridal beauty timeline, so every treatment lands at exactly the right moment and nothing new surprises your skin in the final weeks.
Six months out: build your foundation
Six months gives you time to make real progress with your skin and to fit in the treatments that need healing time.
- Start with a skin assessment. Book a Skin Discovery Treatment ($180, or $99 for new clients). It includes a consultation, an in-depth skin assessment, our Dermal Face Lift Mask, one targeted modality and a homecare plan.
- Commit to a plan. Our Skin Clubs give you one professional skin treatment every month. The Radiance Club ($135 a month, regular value $180) suits hydration and ongoing glow, while the Renewal Club ($220 a month, regular value $275) is designed for texture, pigmentation and ageing. The 6-month minimum term lines up neatly with your countdown. Prefer a set course? The Clarity & Refinement Program ($860, value $1,080) includes 2 x LED, 1 x Dermaplaning and 2 x Peels plus the AHA Power Exfoliant for home. Compare options on our memberships page or read Radiance, Renewal and Skin Programs explained.
- Start your IPL course. IPL offers long-term hair reduction over a course, usually every 4 to 8 weeks, so starting now gives you plenty of sessions before the day. A free consultation is required first. You’ll need to avoid sun and tanning on the area for 2 weeks before and after each session, so plan your final IPL at least 2 weeks before your spray tan.
- Book cosmetic brows or lip blush. Feather Touch Brows and Powder Brows are $550 for the initial visit, and Lip Blush is $600. Your perfection visit ($200) happens 6 to 8 weeks later, and colour settles over 4 to 6 weeks after that. Booking early means everything is healed and settled well before the photos. Having two? Any two initial visits are $999. A free consultation comes first, and cosmetic tattooing isn’t recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Read our brow guide and lip blush guide.
For comfort, numbing cream for cosmetic tattooing is supplied by our partner Tugun Compounding Pharmacy. You can order it through their form.
Three months out: check in and fine-tune
- Review your progress with your therapist and adjust your plan if needed.
- Fit in corrective work now. If skin needling or higher-strength peels are part of your plan, this is the window. Needling can leave redness for a day or two and stronger peels can cause flaking for a few days, so you want these finished with plenty of time to spare. Your therapist will advise on timing.
- Finish your cosmetic tattoo perfection visits so colour has time to settle.
- Stay consistent at home. Your homecare routine and daily SPF 50+ do a lot of the work between appointments.
- Decide on lashes. Not sure whether you want extensions or a lift? Read lash lift vs lash extensions.
One month out: your test runs
This is the time to try your finishing touches, so there are no surprises on the day.
- Dermaplaning ($275, 60 min): a sterile blade removes dead skin and peach fuzz for a smooth base that helps makeup sit beautifully. Hair grows back the same, not thicker. It isn’t done over active breakouts. Learn more about dermaplaning.
- Lash Lift & Tint ($155): a lift lasts around 6 to 8 weeks, so a test run now may still look lovely on the day.
- Brow Lamination ($155): lasts around 4 to 6 weeks. See how you like the shape, then talk to your therapist about timing your final appointment. Read our brow lamination guide.
- A test spray tan ($49) helps you find the right depth of colour.
The two-week rule: from two weeks out, don’t try any new actives, skincare or treatments. Stick with what your skin already knows and loves.
The final week
- Waxing: book your wax about a week before the wedding. Hair should be about 5 mm long, and exfoliate 24 to 48 hours before. If you’ve never been waxed, have your first wax well before this week. On areas you’re treating with IPL, keep shaving instead. First timer? Read your first wax: what to expect.
- Hydro Jelly ($180, 40 min): algae-based masks that help with hydration, redness and dullness. A favourite for pre-event glow.
- Lashes and brows: a lash tint ($55) about 4 weeks after your lift & tint makes lashes pop again, and a Brow Sculpt & Tint ($70) tidies everything up.
- Spray tan, 1 to 2 days before: exfoliate with the Body Exfoliation Buff and Polish Mitt and shave or wax at least 24 hours beforehand. Skip moisturiser, deodorant, perfume and makeup on the day, wear loose dark clothes and rinse after 2 to 6 hours, as guided by your therapist. Your tan lasts around 5 to 7 days. More tips in our spray tanning guide.
The big day: Event Ready and Ultimate Glow Up
Our longer day packages are made for moments like this, with everything booked into one appointment:
- Event Ready (230 minutes, $730): Lash Lift & Tint, Brow Lamination, Dermaplaning with a Hydro Jelly mask, Underarm Wax and Full Leg Wax.
- Ultimate Glow Up (150 minutes, $400): Brazilian Wax, Underarm Wax, Full Leg Wax, Lash Lift & Tint and Signature HD Brows.
Book your day package about a week before the wedding, so your lashes, brows and skin have settled, then have your spray tan 1 to 2 days before. Bridesmaids and mums love these too, and gift vouchers make a lovely thank-you.
On the morning itself, keep it simple: gentle cleanse, your usual serum and moisturiser, SPF under makeup and a cool Hydra-Lift Eye Gel ($59) for fresh-looking eyes. Then enjoy every minute.
